WHO Healthy Cities Programme in the EMR From Peadiatric to Geriatric Experiences and Success Stories – DRAFT FOR CONSULTATION – Medium Resolution

The purpose of this report is to demonstrate the impact of the Healthy Cities Programme in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. From 2019 to date, the Healthy Cities Network has grown by 70% to cover 111 cities, out of which 35 are awarded and 7 are under evaluation. The report sheds light on success stories shared by national and local leaders from seven countries with active Healthy Cities programmes. It extends an open invitation to local leaders, volunteers, and ministries of health to join our movement, towards advancing “Health for All, by All”.
