Quarantine facilities are donated to the community of Al Zulfi.

A notable president of the province in which Al Zulfi is located donated a new five-story building covering an area of approximately 1,000 square meters and containing a capacity of approximately 60 beds. It was fully furnished, and 3 main meals per day were provided to each patient through the General Hospital's Nutrition Department. The initiative showed that the community's social participation helps to promote social stability, and it highlighted the importance of living in a healthy environment.

The initiative was funded through national/regional sources, and donors. The initiative also addresses the elderly, children, people with chronic diseases and people with special needs by testing them at home before relocating them to the new quarantine building.

The initiative aimed to reduce the presence of the virus and reduce the number of infections, thus reducing the burden on the country.

By applying the quarantine system to the injured and isolating them from the community, the number of cases was ultimately lowered, and this helped reduce the city’s medical costs. In terms of post-pandemic prospects, the initiative has encouraged community participation and inspired a sense of responsibility towards the community.

Furthermore, the initiative contributed to the overall integration between all sectors of society by inspiring community participation and a sense of responsibility.
